9.2 Message Center

Purpose:  Use this document to reference for using the student Message Center through the Message Center tile on the ctcLink Student Homepage.

Audience:  Students; Student Services staff

Message Center

Navigation:  Student Homepage

  1. Select the Message Center tile.
Student Home page
  1. The Message Center page displays.
  2. Select a message in your Inbox.
Message Center page
  1. The message displays.
  2. If the message allows it, select Reply.

  1. The message Reply area displays.
  2. Enter your message, then select Send.

  1. Your reply is sent.
  2. To archive the message, select Archive.
Archive icon
  1. The message moves from the Inbox to the Archived folder.
  2. The Archive icon is labelled "Unarchive".
Archived message
  1. Select the Archived folder.
Inbox folder
  1. The Archived folder displays.
  2. Select the message you wish to Unarchive.
Archived folder
  1. The message displays.
  2. Select Unarchive.
Archived folder
  1. The message moves from the Archived folder to the Inbox.
  2. Select the Inbox folder.
  3. The message is, again, archivable.
Inbox folder
  1. Process complete.

good afternoon i have been trying to activate my account and it hasn't been working i don't know if it expired or anything but it wont work. Im trying to activate my account for green river community college

Is our .seattlecolleges.edu email address only used for school messages? or can we use it as a regular email?
