What-If (HCX)

Purpose:  Use this document to be able to view grades, programs and degree progress in your Student Center using the college Mobile Application.

Audience:  Students.

The college mobile applications will look a bit different between the various colleges. This guide is intended as a general overview. Please note that your college may have different images and options available.

What-If

  1. On the Mobile (HCX) Springboard page, select the ctcLink Login tile.  
  2. The ctcLink Login page displays.
  3. Enter your ctcLink ID.
  4. Enter your Password.
  5. Select the Sign In button. The Okta Account section of the ctcLink Reference Center provides helpful information on accessing your ctcLink account.
  6. Select the Academics menu from the sidebar navigation.
  7. Select the What-If link.
  8. The What-If page displays to the right.
  9. Select the Create Report button.

  1. The New Report page displays.
  2. Enter various details to create a report and select the Submit Report button.

  1. The What If scenario report displays.
  2. Click the View PDF button to generate a PDF. You must allow browser pop-ups to view the PDF.
  3. A new window opens to display the PDF. Review the report. Close the window to return to the What-If page.
  4. Select the degree to see the satisfied/not satisfied requirement groups.
  5. The degree information displays to the right.

  1. Expand the Academic Requirements section.
  2. The Academic Requirements menu expands.
  3. Select View Courses to see which classes are required to complete the group or what classes have been used to complete the group.
  4. You have successfully created a What-If report.
  5. Process complete.
