Student Self Service Select Charges to Pay Information

With the approval of Enhancement Request #235 (thank you, Highline!), students have the option of selecting different charges to pay when they are in their self-service portal.

This is an optional configuration for colleges! If your institution is interested, SBCTC will turn on Select Charges to Pay in the PCD environment for your experience/testing. Submit a support ticket with the Request Type: ctcLink Support > Student Financials > SF: Charges and Payments.

Payment by Business Unit (Standard) Test

The image below is the Make a Payment screen on the student self-service portal without the Select Charges to Pay option. It only allows students to pay a lump sum and will apply to charges based on your Item Type configuration.

Payment by Charge (New Optional)

The image below is the Make a Payment screen on the student self-service portal with the Select Charges to Pay option. It allows student to specify which charges they want to make a payment towards.

PAYALL CPL may be used with any SF Term Default. PAYNOFUT CPL, if used, should be used in combination with a SF Term Default Effective Date of the day Enrollment begins for that term.
