Enroll from Planner
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for enrolling from the student planner through the Manage Classes tile on the ctcLink Student Homepage.
Audience: Students; Student Services staff.
Navigation: Student Homepage > Manage Classes (Tile)
Access the Planner
- Select the Manage Classes tile.
- The Manage Classes menu displays on the left.
- Select Planner.
- If prompted, select the appropriate College and Career.
- The Planner page displays and lists your planned courses by term.
- Select one of the following:
- Unassigned Courses to view courses that have not yet been assigned to an academic term.
- An academic term (for example, Fall 2026) to view courses planned for that term.
- The list of planned courses displays.
- You can add courses to your Planner by selecting Add from Course Catalog or Add from My Requirements at the bottom of the Planner page.
View Available Class Sections
- Select the desired course.
- The Course Detail page displays.
- Select View Classes.
- If prompted, select the enrollment term.
- The available class sections display.
- To review class details, select the Class hyperlink.
- The Class Information page displays.
- Review the class details.
- Select X to close the Class Information page.
- The list of available class sections displays.
- Select the desired class section.

- Review the selected class information.
- If the information is correct, select Next.
➡️ Review Class Preferences
- Step 2 of 3: Review Class Preferences displays.
- Review the selected course and class section.
- If the class offers a waitlist and you would like to be automatically enrolled if a seat becomes available, select the Add to waitlist if class is full? checkbox.
- If you do not want to be added to the waitlist, leave the checkbox unselected.
- Select Accept to continue to Step 3: Review and Submit.

- Step 3 of 3: Review and Submit displays.
- Review the selected class information, including:
- Class.
- Session.
- Meeting Dates.
- Days and Times.
- Seats.
- Expand the Class Preferences section to review your waitlist selection, if applicable.
- If any changes are needed, select Previous to return to the previous step.
- If the information is correct, select Submit. 📢 Important: Selecting Submit sends your enrollment request for processing. Verify all class information before submitting.
- The Confirmation page displays.
