9.2 Viewing a Benefit Rate Table
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to view the benefit rate table detailed information in ctcLink.
Audience: Benefits and Human Resources Specialists.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZD Benefits Config Inquiry
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Use the Benefit Rates Table page to view rates based on specific dollar amount. Rate tables are maintained centrally by SBCTC staff.
Viewing a Benefit Rate Table
Navigation: Menu > Set-Up HCM > Product Related > Base Benefits > Rates and Rules > Benefit Rates
- The Benefit Rates search page displays.
- Select the Search button to display the list of all Benefit Rate Table IDs.
- The Search Results display.
- Select the CTCMED rate table link to display Rate Data details for this table.
- The CTCMED Benefit Rates table displays.
- This page is used to create rates that are based on a specific dollar amount.
- Select the Detail Rates tab to view the total rate, employee before-tax and after-tax rate, and employer contribution non-taxable and taxable rates, for every Medical Benefits Plan/Coverage Code combination.
- Select the Return to Search button.
- The Search Results display.
- Select LF0206 from the list to view a list of Life Insurance Rates.
- The LF0206 Benefit Rates page displays
- These rates are per thousand dollars of coverage and are specified by age and by smoker status.
