9.2 Route Applicants

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for routing applicants to the Hiring Team in ctcLink.

Audience: HR Recruiter.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZZ Hiring Manager
  • ZZ Interested Party
  • ZZ Recruiter
  • ZZ Recruiting Admin Local

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Recruiting > Search Job Openings

  1. The Search Job Openings page displays.
  2. Enter the Job Opening ID.
  3. Select the Search button.

  1. The Search Results displays.
  2. Select the Job Opening link.

  1. The Manage Job Openings page displays.
  2. From the Applicants tab select the applicant(s) to be routed.
  1. Select the Group Actions link at the bottom of the page.

  1. Select Recruiting Actions.
  2. Select Route Applicant.

  1. The Route Applicant page displays. The Routing Status defaults to "Route."
  2. Select Reason drop-down menu and select the desired reason.
Route Applicant
  1. In the Recipients section, the Hiring Manager assigned to the job opening will default as the first listed recipient.
  2. Select the Add Recipient button,to additional recipients.
  3. Enter the Response Due Date.
Routing Details
  1. Add a Comment for the recipients, if needed.
  2. Select the Include Attachments button.
  1. The Include Attachments pagelet displays.
  2. Select the attachments for the recipients to review.
  3. Select the OK button.
  1. The Routing Details display.
  2. Select Submit.
  3. A message pagelet displays.
  4. Select the OK button.
  1. The Applicants tab displays.
  2. The Applicants Disposition status has been changed from "Screen" to " Route."
  1. The process to route applicants is now complete.
  2. End of procedure.
