Re-Printing AP Check Run
Purpose: Use this document as a reference to run the Re-Print accounts payable checks process in ctcLink.
Audience: Finance Staff
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZZ Payment Creation
You must also set these User Preference Definitions:
If you need assistance with the above security roles or User Preference Definitions, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
THIS PROCESS CAN BE ONLY EXECUTED IF NO OTHER PROCESSES HAVE BEEN EXECUTED SINCE CHECKS WERE RUN. IF CHECKS HAVE BEEN RUN, THE PAY CYCLE AND SEQ NUMBER WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION.
If you have a payment cycle that does not print, you can restart the process. This will only work if you have not excecuted any other processes in between.
Re-Print AP Checks
Navigation: Accounts Payable > Payments > Pay Cycle Processing > Check Restart
- The Recreate Checks page displays. Enter or lookup Pay Cycle from the pay run.
- Enter or lookup Seq Num from the pay run.
- In the Details section, mark the “Select” checkbox for each payment.
- In the Reference Number section, select the radio button option "Re-Print using same reference".
- Select the server then select the Process button.
- The Pay Cycle Manager page displays. Make sure the server is selected, the Output Type is Web, and the Output Destination is set for your college.
- In the Pay Cycle Results section, run the Print Checks process by selecting the Process button.
- The page refreshes. Next run the Format Positive Payment process by selecting the Process button.
- Next run the Produce Positive Payment File process, by selecting the Process button.
- Select the Refresh button. The process completes.
