SACR 3Cs Group Security: Financial Aid

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for updating SACR 3Cs group security as it relates to Financial Aid in ctcLink.

Audience: Local Security Administrators

You also need to set the following SACR Security permissions:

3C Group Security

Navigation: Set Up SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration > User ID > 3C Group Security

  1. The 3C Group Security search page displays.
  2. Enter User ID (or first few numbers in User ID).
  3. Click Search.
  4. If there is only one result, it will take you directly to the 3C Group Security page. If multiple search results display, select the applicable user from the filtered results.
  5. The 3C Group Security page displays.
  6. Use the Look Up icon to add the 3C Update/Inquiry Groups that apply.
  7. Click applicable check boxes.
  8. Click the Plus [+] icon to add additional rows as needed.
  9. Click the Minus [-] icon to remove rows.
  10. Click Save to complete the process.

After Set Up Log In

Navigation: Campus Community > Communications > Person Communications > Communication Management

  1. The Communication Management search page displays.
  2. Enter EMPLID for the student and the Academic Institution, at a minimum, to search for communications sent to that student.
  3. From the Person Communication tab, choose communication category listed you would like to view.
  4. Click the View Generated Communication link.

  1. When View Communication page opens, click the View button.
  2. The correspondence will open in a new window. When finished reviewing, close the browser window to return to the View Communication page. Select the Return button to get back to the Person Communication page.

  1. Select Return to Search to complete the process and start anew.
