9.2 OAAP Transitional Application without a Fee

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for completing an Online Admissions Application Portal (OAAP) Transitional application without a fee in ctcLink.

Audience: Admissions staff, Transitional applicants.

If you have already created a User Name and Password for the Online Admissions Application Portal (OAAP), you can enter your User Name and Password and complete your application.  

If you have not created an account for OAAP, follow the instructions in the first two foldable sections of 9.2 New OAA-P Submitting an Admissions Application. Users may not register more than one account per email address. Students can apply to more than one college using the same OAAP account. 

If you are a returning student logging in with your ctcLink credentials and need to make corrections to your address, email, and phone information, you will need to do this in ctcLink before applying for admissions. If you do not remember your ctcLink account information, please get in touch with the college directly.

  1. You can find the link to the Online Admissions Application Portal on your college's website.
  2. The Online Admissions Application login page displays.
  3. Select the Login button.

  2. Enter your Username.
  3. Enter your Password.
  4. Select the I'm not a robot Captcha checkbox.

  2. Select the correct images, then select the Verify button.

  1. The Start A New Application page displays.
  2. Enter the appropriate information for
    1. College
    2. Admission Type
    3. Program - select "Transitional Studies"
    4. Term
    5. Plan
    6. Sub-Plan  Academic Sub-Plans are optional and not required to submit an Online Admissions Application successfully.
  3. Select the Apply button.

If you are a returning student logging in with your ctcLink credentials and need to make corrections to your address, email, and phone information, you will need to do this in ctcLink before applying for admissions. Please contact the college directly if you do not remember your ctcLink account information.

  1. The Personal Information page displays.  Review and update, if needed.
  2. Select the Next button.

The Legal Definition of Sex

Please enter the legal sex as denoted on this person's birth certificate or driver's license per WAC 246-490-075 or WAC 308-104-0150

  1. The High School Information page displays.  Review and update, if needed.
  2. Select the Next button.

  2. Select your answer to each question via the drop-down.
  3. Select the Next button.

  1. The Review and Submit page displays.  Review it.
  2. Select the Yes, I accept checkbox.
  3. Select the Submit Now button.

  2. Select the OK button.

  2. Select your name in the upper-right hand corner of the page.
