9.2 Assigning Basis of Admissions to an Applicant
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for assigning basis of admissions codes to an applicant in ctcLink
Audience: Admissions office
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZC AD App Eval
- ZD AD App Eval
- ZZ AD App Eval
You must also set these SACR Security permissions:
If you need assistance with the above security roles or SACR settings, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access
Assigning Basis of Admissions to an Applicant
Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Student Admissions > Application Evaluation > Application Decisions > Basis of Admission
- The Basis of Admission search page displays.
- Enter Academic Institution.
- Enter additional Search Criteria to identify your applicant.
- Select Search.
- The Basis of Admission page displays.
- Enter Basis of Admission.
- Enter Admit Term.
- Enter End Date if this offer is valid only for a specified time period.
- Select the Include in Offer checkbox, if applicable.
Note: The system will include the Base of Admission code and a description in the admissions letter that is generated from 3Cs. If the offer letter is generated after the end date, the Basis of Admissions will not display.
- Edit the Long Description field, if applicable.
Note: The Basis of Admission Long Description entered when the code was set up will automatically display here. Change if necessary.
- Remaining fields are optional.
- Select Save.
- Process complete.
