9.2 Running Admissions Query

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for running an admissions query in ctcLink.

Audience: Admissions Staff.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:


You must also set these SACR Security permissions:

If you need assistance with the above security roles or SACR settings, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Navigation: Reporting Tools > Query > Query Viewer

  1. On the Query Viewer page next to *Search By, select Query Name from the drop down menu and enter QCS_RA_ADM_APPLS into the begins with box.
  2. Select Search.

  1. The Search Results display at the bottom of the page. Select a Run To option; in this example, we will select HTML.

Note: If HTML is the only hyper-linked "Run to" option, run the process in HTML, then a user will have the option to download to Excel after the results are returned.

  1. The QCS_RA_ADM_APPLS prompts page displays in a new window.
  2. Enter or look up information for the following:
    • Institution
    • Admit Type
    • Admit Term
  3. Select View Results.

The query includes a column listing SDI/SXF/SVR Service Indicators for all institutions and encourage colleges to monitor for information in that column before processing apps.

  • SDI - duplicate marked for deletion
  • SVR - student data verified
  • SXF - fraudulent application
Query Prompts Page

The results display at the bottom of the QCS_RA_ADM_APPLS prompts page. You can download the results to an Excel Spreadsheet, a CSV Text File, or an XML File if you wish.

  1. Close the new window.
  2. Process complete.
