Personnel Actions History Report

Purpose:  Use this document to view data related to Employee HR Personnel Actions in Job Data.

Audience:  HR Administrators.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZZ HR Reporting

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Personnel Actions History Report

Navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Reports > Personnel Actions History

  1. The Personnel Actions History run control search page displays.
  2. Enter an existing Run Control ID or select the Add a New Value tab to create a new one.
  3. Enter a desired Run Control ID.
  4. Select the Add button.
  5. The Personnel Actions History page displays.
  6. In the Report Request Parameters section, enter the From Date and Thru Date.
  7. In the Actions section, select the appropriate Action.
  8. Select Save (this will save all of the data selected in the Parameters and Actions sections for future runs).
  9. Select the Run button.
  10. The Process Scheduler Request page displays.
  11. The Format will default to PDF; change if needed (i.e. CSV).
  12. Select OK to initiate the process run.
  13. The Personnel Actions History page displays.
  14. Select the Process Monitor link to monitor the status of the run.
  15. The Process Monitor page displays.
  16. Select the Refresh button periodically until the Run Status has been run to Success and the Distribution Status is Posted.
  17. Select the Go Back to Personnel Actions History link.
  18. The Personnel Actions History page displays.
  19. Select the Report Manager link.
  20. The Report Manager page displays.
  21. Select the appropriate Report link from the List tab (for this example the Report is PER015).
  22. The Report page displays.
  23. Select the Message Log link to view the messages related to this report.
  24. The Message Log page displays.
  25. Select the OK button to close Message Log and return to the Report page.
  26. Select Return to close the Message Log.
  27. In the File List section, select the .PDF file to view the results (A new window will open. Save this file for future reference and validating job data).
  28. Navigate to the Report Index window, select the List button at the top of the page to return to the Report Manager.
  29. The Report Manager page displays.
  30. Select the Go back to Personnel Actions History link .
  31. The Personnel Actions History page displays.
  32. To view results for another Action and Date Range, repeat previous steps.
  33. Select Return to Search to exit Personnel Actions History.
  34. You have successfully reviewed the personnel actions history report.
  35. Next step would be to navigate to the Job Data page to validate the data results in the pdf file.
  36. Navigation:  Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

Process complete.
