Withdrawing a Cash Advance Before Approval
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for withdrawing a cash advance request before it's been approved in ctcLink.
Audience: All staff.
From the ctcLink Gateway main page, navigate to Financials Employee Self Service by selecting either the Financials Self-Service tile or the FSCM link.
Withdrawing a Cash Advance Before Approval
PREREQUISITES: Cash Advance request must have been created but not approved.
Navigation: FSCM Employee Self-Service menu > Travel and Expenses > Cash Advances > View
- The Employee Self Service page displays. Select the Navigation Menu icon.
- Select the Menu icon.
- Follow the navigation: Employee Self-Service > Travel and Expenses > Cash Advances.
- Select View.
- The Cash Advance search page displays. Optional to use the Search by drop down menu and select:
- Advance Description
- Advance ID.
- Advance Status.
- Creation Date.
- Empl ID.
- Name.
- Select Search. The View Cash Advance page displays.
- Select the Withdraw Cash Advance button.
- The updated View Cash Advance page displays.
- Note the message informing you of your successful withdrawal of the cash advance request.
- Select the Return to Search button to review status.
- The Cash Advance search page displays.
- Select Search.
- The View Cash Advance page displays with the Submit Cash Advance button 'grayed' out.
- Note that the Report status = "Pending", and that the Approval History shows your recent withdrawal action.
