Viewing Analytics for an Expense Report

Purpose: Use this document as a reference to view expense report analytics in ctcLink.

Audience:  Finance and Business Office staff

Viewing Analytics for an Expense Report

Navigation: Travel and Expenses > Expense Report > View

  1. The Expense Report search page displays.
  2. Enter Search Criteria to identify the expense report. Optional to search by;
    • Report ID.
    • Report Description.
    • Name.
    • EMPL ID.
    • Report Status.
    • Creation Date.
  3. Select Search.
  4. The View Expense Report page displays.
  5. Select the View Analytics link.

Expand the Approval History drop down arrow to view approval status.

  1. The Expenses by Day window displays. Review each column amounts/totals as needed:
    • Expense Type.
    • Total Amount.
    • From Date.
    • To Date.
  2. Select the Totals by Department link.

  1. The Totals by Department window displays. Review the information as needed.
  2. Select the Totals by Project/Activity link.

  2. Select Return.
