Delegate Entry Authority

Purpose:  Use this document as a reference to delegate entry authority in ctcLink.

Audience:  Employees.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZZ PeopleSoft User

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Employee Self-Service - Delegate Entry Authority

Navigation: Employee Self Service > Travel & Expenses > User Preferences > Delegate Entry Authority

  1. The Authorize Users search page displays. Select Search to pull all values.
  2. OR select the Add a New Value tab and enter or lookup the Empl ID.
  3. The Authorize Users page displays.
  4. Select the plus sign icon [+] to add an authorized user.
  5. A new row is added.
  6. Enter the Authorized User ID (this user will be allowed to create documents).
  7. Use the drop-down menu to select authorization level:
    • Edit: user can only create and edit documents, but can't submit.
    • Edit & Submit:  user has full functionality on behalf of employee.
    • View: the authorized user can only view the document, not create, edit nor submit.
  8. To remove an existing authorized user, select the minus icon [-] on the applicable row.
  9. After completing all updates, select the Save button.
