Attaching Documents to a Cash Advance

Purpose: Use this document as a reference on how to attach documents to an existing cash advance in ctcLink.

Audience: All travelers

Attaching Documents to a Cash Advance

Navigation: Employee Self-Service > Travel and Expenses > Cash Advances > Create/Modify

When attaching large document to a cash advance, please create and save the cash advance prior to attaching the large document.

  1. The Cash Advance search page displays. Select the Find an Existing Value tab.
  2. Optional to use the 'Search by:' drop down menu and select:
    • Advance Description
    • Advance ID.
    • Advance Status.
    • Creation Date.
    • Empl ID.
    • Name.
  3. Select the Search button to select the pending Cash Advance from results.
  4. The Modify Cash Advance page displays. Optional to make edits if needed in editable/open fields.
  5. Select the Attachments link.

  1. The Cash Advance Attachments window displays. Select the Add Attachment button.
  2. The File Attachment window displays. Select Choose File button.
  3. Browse and select the document to upload and select the Open button.

  1. The File Attachment window disappears.
  2. The updated Cash Advance Attachments window displays.
  3. Enter Description. Optional to add more attachments by selecting the Add Attachment button and repeating steps 7 through 12.
  4. Select OK.

  1. The Cash Advance Attachments window disappears. Notice you have 1 attachment.
  2. Select Save for Later.
