9.2 Set up Student Milestones
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to set up student milestones in ctcLink.
Audience: Advising and Student Records staff.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZC SACR Milestone Config
- ZD SACR Milestone Config
- ZD SACR Student Rec Config
- ZZ SACR Milestone Config
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Note: Access to the processes in this QRG is limited and is assigned by the local ctcLink security administrator.
Setting Up Student Milestones
Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Set Up SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Enrollment > Milestone Table
- The Milestone Table search page displays. It defaults to the Find an Existing Value tab. In this example, we'll create a new milestone.
- Select Add a New Value.
- Enter Academic Institution.
- Enter Milestone.
- Select Add.
- The Milestone Table page displays. Enter information into the following fields:
- Effective Date
- Status
- Description
- Formal Description
- Grading Scheme
- Grading Basis

Self-Service Availability
- Allow Student Self-service
- Allow Student Attachment--select to allow students to upload documents.
- Allow Advisor Self-Service
- Allow Advisor Attachment--select to allow advisors to upload documents. The query QCS_SR_STU_MILESTONE_DETAIL will identify Milestones that have uploaded documents.
- Milestone Level
- Description
- Formal Description
- Select Save.
- Process complete.
