9.2 Entering an External System ID - Merit System Stars ID

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to enter a Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Merit System Stars ID into ctcLink.

Audience: Campus Community Staff.

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Campus Community > Personal Information (Student) > Identification (Student) > External System ID

  1. The External System ID search page displays.
  2. Enter Search Criteria to identify your student.
  3. Select Search.
External System ID page displays
  1. The External System ID page displays.
  2. Select DCYF Merit Sys Participant ID from the External System drop-down list.
  3. Enter the Effective Date.
  4. Enter the External System ID.
  5. Select Save.
Select DCYF Merit Sys Participant ID and enter the external system ID
  1. On the External System ID page, select the plus icon [+] to add a new effective dated row for the student.
  2. Select the View All link to view all rows.

  1. Select DCYF Merit Sys Participant ID from the External System drop-down list.
  2. Enter the Effective Date.
  3. Enter the External System ID.
  4. Select Save.

  1. Process complete.
