Tracking Student Activities

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to track student activities in ctcLink.

Audience: Campus Community staff

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC CC Personal Info Student
  • ZD CC Personal Info Student
  • ZD CC Super user
  • ZZ CC Pers Info NID Update
  • ZZ CC Personal Info Student

You must also set these SACR Security permissions:

If you need assistance with the above security roles or SACR settings, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access

Tracking Student Activities

Navigation:  Campus Community > Personal Information > Participation Data (Student) > Extracurricular Activities


Navigation: Student Admissions > Application Entry > Participation > Extracurricular Activities

  1. The Extracurricular Activities search page displays.
  2. Enter Academic Institution.
  3. Enter additional Search Criteria to identify your student.
  4. Select Search.
  5. The Extracurricular Activities page displays.
  6. There are numerous uses for this page. The following Activity Types are configured and can be managed as each institution determines appropriate based on business process:
    1. Volunteer
    2. Athletics
    3. Club
    4. Employment
    5. Music
    6. Publications
    7. Student Government
    8. Theater
    9. Other
  7. There are 62 Activities configured which can have one of the above listed Activity Types assigned. The activities range from sports to internships and military.
  8. Enter Activity.
  9. Enter other fields as desired.
  10. Select the Add a New Row [+] icon to add additional activities.
  11. Select Save.

Process complete.
