9.2 Enter Work Experience

Purpose:Use this document as a reference for entering work experience information in ctcLink.

Audience: College staff responsible for maintaining student information

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC CC Personal Information
  • ZD CC Personal Information
  • ZD CC Super user
  • ZZ CC Pers Info NID Update
  • ZZ CC Personal Information

You must also set these SACR Security permissions:

If you need assistance with the above security roles or SACR settings, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Campus Community > Personal Information > BIographical > Work Experience

  1. The Work Experience search page displays.
  2. Enter Search Criteria to identify your student.
  3. Select Search.

  1. The Work Experience page displays.
  2. Enter the Employer ID. If the ID is not in your database, enter the employer name in the field next to the Employer ID field.
  3. In the Work Experience Address section, select None, then enter the City and State information. Enter any other known information.
  4. Attach any relevant documentation in the File Attachments section
  1. To add additional employer information, select the Add a New Row [+] icon to the right of the Employer field and repeat steps 5 - 7. To remove employer information, select the Delete a Row [-] icon to the right of the Employer field, then select OK.
  2. Select Save.

  1. Process complete.
