Processing Block Enroll with a Pre-Generated Enrollment Request ID

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to process block enrollment with a pre-generated enrollment request ID in ctcLink.

Audience: Academic Advisement Report builders

You must have at least one of these local college-managed security roles:

  • ZD SR Enroll Students
  • ZD SR Super User
  • ZZ SR Enroll Students

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Processing Block Enrollment

Navigation:  Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Block Enrollment > Block Enroll Merge

  1. Your user defaults for Academic Institution must be set before completing these steps. Please refer to the Setting User Defaults QRG.
  2. OEE Classes: The start date field is not available with Block Enrollment. To enroll students in OEE classes, use the Enrollment Request or Quick Enrollment processes.
  1. The Block Enroll Merge Search Page Displays.
  2. Enter the Enrollment Request ID.
  3. Select Search
  4. The Block Enroll Merge tab displays
  5. Click the Submit button to initiate the enrollment merge process.
  6. Wait until the Request Status updates to "Success" to confirm the process is complete.
  7. Click Retrieve to display detailed transaction results for each student.
  8. The Block Enroll Detail tab displays. This tab shows summary data for students included in the merge.
  9. For individual student review, click the Detail link.
  10. The Block Enroll Detail 1 tab displays. Review class and status information.
  11. Navigate to the second tab for additional enrollment details. The Block Enroll Detail 2 Tab displays.
  12. Review academic information, such as units, grading basis, etc.
  13. Select Save (if applicable).
  14. Process complete.
