Veteran Eligibility Report

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for viewing the Veteran Eligibility Report in ctcLink, which identifies students with an Enrollment Certification worksheet containing at least one class that has not yet been evaluated for benefit eligibility.

Audience: Veterans Coordinator.

You must have at least one of these local college-managed security roles:

  • ZD SR Super User
  • ZD SR Veterans
  • ZZ SR Veterans

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Navigation

Navigation: Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > CTC Custom > Veterans Eligibility Report

Run Control ID
  1. The Veterans Eligibility search page displays.
  2. If you have run this process or report in the past, select the Find an Existing Value tab to enter an existing Run Control ID and select the Search button. If this is the first time running this process or report, select the Add a New Value tab to create a new Run Control ID and select the Add button.
  3. NOTE: It is important to note that Run Control IDs cannot  be deleted. Do not include spaces in your Run Control. We encourage the  Run Control ID to have the same process naming convention but unique to  the step; because of this, including your institution code and a short  process description in the Run Control ID is recommended--e.g., WA220_VET_ELIG_REPORT.
Enter Report Parameters
  1. On the Veterans Eligibility page, input the following details:​
    1. Institution: Specify your institution's code.
    2. Career: Enter the academic career (e.g., Undergraduate, Graduate).
    3. Term: Provide the academic term for the report.
Report Request Parameters
Initiate the Report Generation
  1. Click the Run button to start the process.​
  2. On the Process Scheduler Request page, ensure that the Veterans Eligibility checkbox for CTC_VET_ELIG is selected, then click OK to proceed.
  3. After clicking OK, the Process Monitor link displays. Click this link to track the process's execution. In the Process List Table, find the CTC_VET_ELIG instance and monitor its Run Status, ensuring it progresses from Queued to Processing and finally to Success.
Retrieve the Generated Report
  1. Once the process is completed successfully:​
    1. Select the Report Manager link.
    2. Access the List tab to view available reports.
    3. Locate the report titled "CTC_VET_ELIG - VETERANS ELIGIBILITY REPORT."
    4. Click on the corresponding Report PDF file to open or download the report.
Report Manager
Review the Report
  1. The Veterans Eligibility Report will display a list of student records in "review" status.​
  2. These students require action on their Veteran Certification page.​
  3. To address these records:​
    1. Navigate to Records and Enrollment > Enrollment Reporting > Veterans Benefit Reporting > Enrollment Certification.
    2. Review and update each student's certification status as necessary.
  4. Process complete.
