9.2 Modifying an Individual Student's Academic Standing
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for manually modifying a student’s academic standing in ctcLink.
Audience: Student Records staff
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZD SR Super User
- ZD SR Term Activation
- ZD SR Withdraw
- ZZ SR Term Activation
- ZZ SR Withdraw
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Modifying an Individual Student's Academic Standing
Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Records and Enrollment > Student Term Information > Term History
- The Term History search page displays.
- Enter Search Criteria to identify your student.
- Select Search.

- The Term Statistics tab displays.
- Select the Academic Standing tab.
- The Academic Standing tab displays.
- Scroll to find the term to be updated (2nd level blue bar).
- To update the academic standing requires Correct History mode to overwrite a standing assigned on a previous date or; insert a new effective date for the term by selecting the Add a New Row [+] icon.

- Effective Date: verify or enter.
- Select the Manual Override box
Note: When you run the Academic Standing process, ctcLink does not calculate academic standing for any records in which this check box is selected.
- Academic Program: Enter or Look Up.
- Academic Standing Action: Enter or Look Up.
- Select Save.
