9.2 Modifying an Individual Student's Academic Standing

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for manually modifying a student’s academic standing in ctcLink.

Audience: Student Records staff

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZD SR Super User
  • ZD SR Term Activation
  • ZD SR Withdraw
  • ZZ SR Term Activation
  • ZZ SR Withdraw

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Modifying an Individual Student's Academic Standing

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Records and Enrollment > Student Term Information > Term History

  1. The Term History search page displays.
  2. Enter Search Criteria to identify your student.
  3. Select Search.

  2. Select the Academic Standing tab.

  2. Scroll to find the term to be updated (2nd level blue bar).
  3. To update the academic standing requires Correct History mode to overwrite a standing assigned on a previous date or; insert a new effective date for the term by selecting the Add a New Row [+] icon.

  1. Effective Date: verify or enter.
  2. Select the Manual Override box

Note: When you run the Academic Standing process, ctcLink does not calculate academic standing for any records in which this check box is selected.

  1. Academic Program: Enter or Look Up.
  2. Academic Standing Action: Enter or Look Up.
  3. Select Save.
