Shopping Cart Purge Process

The Shopping Cart Purge process removes student shopping cart data and should be run after students can no longer enroll in classes for the term.

The Shopping Cart Purge process cannot be undone. Exercise caution when selecting terms to include in the purge process.

NavBar > Navigator > Records and Enrollment > Term Processing > End of Term Processing > Shopping Cart Purge

  1. Select the Add a New Value tab to create a new Run Control ID and select Add. It is important to note that Run Control IDs cannot be deleted; therefore, we encourage them to be reused. The same Run Control ID can be re-used for future processes. Because of this, including your institution code and a short process description in the Run Control ID is recommended--e.g., WA020_Shopping_Cart_Purge.

User Academic Program Security SACR determines which institutions are displayed on the Shopping Cart Purge page. Users with Academic Program Security SACR access at multiple institutions will see multiple institutions listed on the Shopping Cart Purge page. Users should exercise caution when running the Shopping Cart Purge process and ensure that they select the appropriate institutions and terms to include in the purge process.
