9.2 Defining Class Enrollment Blocks
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to define class enrollment blocks in ctcLink.
Audience: Student Records staff.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZD SR Enroll Students
- ZD SR Super User
- ZZ SR Enroll Students
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
OEE Classes: The start date field is not available with Block Enrollment. To enroll students in OEE classes, use the Enrollment Request or Quick Enrollment processes.
Defining Class Enrollment Blocks
Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Block Enrollment > Create Class Block
- The Create Class Block search page displays.
- Select the Add a New Value tab.
- Enter Academic Institution.
- Enter Class Enrollment Block.
- Select Add.
- The Block Enrollment Classes page displays.
- Enter Description.
- Enter Term.
- Select Action = "Enroll".
- Enter Class Nbr.
- See below for an explanation of the Overrides section.
- Select Save.
- To access previously defined student enrollment blocks; navigate to the Block Enroll Merge page with the Add Merge Process link at the bottom of the Block Enrollment Classes page.
